"Now... Dance, Monkey"

The One Where I Love Art Work Again, Don't Dismiss Kiefer Sutherland For A Change, And I Hail Tom Cruise (Come Back King)

It's been quite a busy week for films. It seems quite a few projects are getting the green light, and others are speeding ahead. Good. The more I think about it, this summer only has Inception for me.

It's a bit of a shame when old films get your more excited than new ones. But this poster, from LiveForFilm.Com, is bloody gorgeous. And, if proof was needed, proves it's better than Dawn of the Dead. (That's a Flash, joke).

Die Hard 5... id Die Hard 24/7? Because they are looking to cross over with 24, and Jack Bauer. Apparently, KS, feels he's worthy of a film himself, and not as a "side kick". Hmmm. Never been into 24/7. Same flaws as Lost for me. I prefer the other theory, that Willis has seen a hard R cut of Expendables, and wants Die Hard to go the same way. I like the idea that KS is a sissy, and doesn't want that approach. Either way, Die Hard 4.0 (Live Free And Die Hard, in the States), is underrated, in my opinion. Bring it on.

When Tom Cruise came on, and sang on stage with the Black Eyed Peas, I wasn't sure if I should laugh or cry. Had he gone head mental? Again? Well, the MTV awards, suggests no. He seems to have got his career right back on track. He was the best thing in Tropic Thunder, and now he gets his own movie. Bring. It. On. Knight and Day will be a highlight of the year, too. Mr and Mrs Smith x Mission Impossible. Why not?

Nice. They are really ramping these up, now. Jeremy Renner is signing on fro Avengers too. But, one question... Why, when everyone talking about Avengers, is no one mentioning Ed Norton? It's nothing without him, for me.

So what IS left from 2010?

Oh... and I couldn't resist. Has this made any missteps, yet?

Anyone who breathes knows that John McClane would kick Jack Bauer's ass.
However, on the sixth day God made Christian Bale and saw it was good.
Then Christian said, "Rest now, God. I'll take it from here."
And on the seventh day God rested.
